Wills and Trusts:
Obtain the attorney of your choice to draft your
will and trust. Do not use a "Will in a Box." In a recent case,
we spent an enormous amount of time trying to fix a will that had been
executed out of a box. It is costly and time consumptive.
Trying to do a will or trust out of a box is like spending a dollar to
save ten. For these reasons, we do not provide the documents. |

Texas General Durable Power of Attorney.
Allows you to designate a loved
one to manage your financial affairs in the event of your disability or
incapacity. Unlike the
traditional power of attorney, it is designed to vest and continue
during incapacitation. This is a Texas document. As such, it may
or may not be valid in any other state. As with all legal documents, you are
advised to seek out legal counsel to advise you with regards to this
document. It is provided here as a public service form and in that
regard there is no warranty express or implied with its use. Its use
does not create the lawyer - client relationship Earl N Jackson or the
Jackson Law Firm. The
document provides far sweeping powers. Use at your own risk.
